About the Role
RES is expanding and seeking experienced Electricians and Approved Electricians to join our professional team. We have openings in the Central Belt of Scotland as well as in Lossiemouth, Elgin, and surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality electrical work across a variety of environments. You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance every step of the way.
We are particularly interested in candidates with testing and inspection experience aligned with the latest 18th Edition (Amendment 2) of the IET Wiring Regulations. Experience in DNO installations and/or Mobile Telecoms mast site wiring systems would be an advantage, though not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and controls
- Troubleshoot and repair faults efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry codes
- Work collaboratively with other trades to meet project timelines
- Carry out routine inspections and identify potential risks or faults
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Provide a professional service, addressing client needs with clarity and courtesy

Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time
- Salary: £47,840 per annum (based on a 40-hour week)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Additional: Overtime and weekend work available on occasion
